All that we are doing is adding a button on steam workshop page that allows us to download mods that are on their servers, cached and all. Secondly, most game mods are cashed which means while you may download mods from the website it will download an older version. I have reported that issue on their public forums, and the administrators are saying that they are working on it.
The error seems to appear when the mod file is larger than a few Kilobytes (not sure exsatally how many kilobytes) This is STILL an issue on steamworkshop.download's end, we cant do anything about it. Thanks to u/No_Climate7825 investigations it turns out the error "Free Space Left" doesnt just affects all games but rather it depends on the size of the mod.
